Babysitting Basics Course

Do you have a teenager at home wanting to babysit who needs the proper certifications and training? CYS Youth Sports is excited to offer a Babysitting Basics course for youth aged 12-18 (6th grade and up) from October 6-9, running from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Youth Sports, building 1056. For just $50, your teen will learn all the essential skills for childcare, including how to handle emergencies, safety tips, first aid, CPR, nutrition, child development, diapering, and even the business side of babysitting! Plus, upon completing the course, they'll be CPR and First Aid certified—an invaluable credential for any babysitter.

Ready to sign up? Parents can register their child at Parent Central Services, building 104, from September 8-29, or conveniently online via WebTrac. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity for your teen to gain confidence and skills while preparing for a rewarding babysitting experience!
