Choosing the Right Care for Your Child
Military Families can get safe, flexible, high quality child care to fit their needs. Whether you want full-time care, part-time supervision, or occasional hourly care, we have programs designed for children of all ages.

Types of Child Care Available
Full-Time and Part-Time Care
- Child Development Centers (CDC). Full-day and part-day care for children 6 weeks to 5 years old in a structured, nurturing environment, and Strong Beginnings Pre-K (ages 4-5) also available
- Family Child Care (FCC). Small-group care in certified, on-post homes for children 4 weeks to 12 years old, offering flexible hours and sibling care
- School Age Centers (SAC). Before- and after-school programs for kindergarten through 5th grade, including homework help, activities, and supervised play
Hourly and Short-Term Care **
- Hourly Care. Flexible, short-term care for children while parents attend appointments or events
- Parents on Site. Parent-led co-op programs providing supervised playgroups and babysitting services

School Age Care
- Before- and After-School Programs. Supervised care for school children in grades 1-5, depending on school configuration, including homework time, sports, arts, and camps during school breaks.
