It’s time for Georgia Pre-K!
The Georgia Pre-K Program is a lottery-funded educational program for Georgia’s 4-year-old children to prepare for kindergarten! The best part is, it’s FREE! Pre-K classes will be located at McGraw CDC this year, if you require care outside of the normal school day (before and after school), care is available, and fees are based on total family income. Since the Georgia Pre-K Program is so popular and space is limited, a lottery system was established to ensure fairness. Once eligibility is verified you will complete an entry form from April 1 – 25.
Only ONE entry will be accepted per child, twins/multiples will go on a single-entry form.
Eligibility: MUST be a current resident of the State of Georgia and your child must turn four on or before September 1, 2025. Following the drawing, Parent Central will notify parents by email and phone call only 3 attempts will be made. If selected, registration with CYS is required along with proof of residency, social security card, birth certificate, Georgia immunization record and a Pre-K entry physical.
Please Note: We will not accept any email applications, entry forms must be submitted here. For more information, call +1 (706) 545-2079.
The live drawing will take place May 1 at 10:30 a.m. at Building 85, Conference Room. Parents are encouraged to watch the drawing live on our MWR Facebook page or attend the drawing in person. Parent Central will notify those who received a slot by regular mail, email and phone.
