Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Basketball Tryouts: 6th Grade Boys

Attention all 6th – 8th graders, the highly anticipated Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Basketball tryouts have arrived! Are you ready to showcase your incredible skills and light up the court with your talent? This is your moment to truly shine, impress coaches, and secure your spot on the team. Remember to stay focused, absorb feedback from coaches, and above all, have an absolute blast!

Only 10 players will be chosen for each team, so make sure you give it your all. Tournaments will take place from Friday to Sunday, and parents will be responsible for getting players to the games in Columbus and LaGrange. The cost for the season is $150, which covers 5 tournaments and a custom basketball uniform. To participate, youth must be registered with CYS and have a current sports physical on file. Parents of selected players will be notified on March 17, with practices kicking off on March 18. Practices will run from Monday to Thursday, 6:30-8:30 p.m. inside the CYS Gym, building 1055.
