Internet Safety for Youth

February is designated as National ‘Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month’ (TDVAM).

Every February, young people and their loved ones join together across the country for a national effort to raise awareness of any issues in teen dating violence through Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month.

The Family Advocacy Program (FAP) hosts a class in Internet Safety for Youth on February 3 from 4 – 5 p.m. at the Middle School & Teen Center (MST), 7110 McIver Street, Building 1055. The Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) will present this in-person workshop to learn techniques and considerations for maintaining internet safety! Pre-registration is not required but attending youth must be registered with CYS to attend this event at MST. This class is open to all Middle and High School Students.
