Improve the Quality of Life at Fort Benning! #BetterAtBenning is well known, but there is always space to improve!
On Thursday, February 24, from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., delegates representing diverse Fort Benning populations will attend the 2nd annual ‘A Better Benning 2022 – One Day AFAP Forum’ at the Benning Club to identify, prioritize and elevate quality of life issues on Fort Benning.

- Fitness/Recreation
- Crime/safety
- Housing/Recycling
- Spouse employment
- Healthcare/COVID restrictions
The 2021 Forum conducted February 25, 2021 identified 59 issues, which the “Better Benning Steering Committee” chaired by the Deputy Garrison Commander, tracked and worked to resolve the issues. The Steering Committee meets quarterly and consists of the agency stakeholders responsible for the resolution of the AFAP issues. To date, the committee has condensed the issues into 44 topics by combining similar concerns and continues to work the issues.
