It’s time for Georgia Pre-K!
The Georgia Pre-K Program is a lottery-funded educational program for Georgia’s 4-year-old children to prepare for kindergarten! The best part is, it’s FREE! Since the GA Pre-K Program is so popular and space is limited, a lottery system is established to ensure fairness. Families interested in a slot must participate in the GA Pre-K lottery drawing and complete an entry form at Parent Central Services, building 104, between April 1 – 30, (Monday – Friday) 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Pre-K classes will be located at McGraw CDC this year, if you require care outside of the normal school day (before and after school), care is available, and fees are based on total family income.
Eligibility: MUST be a current resident of the State of Georgia and child must turn four on or before September 1, 2024.
Entry form: Blank entries will be available at Parent Central and must be completed and received at/by Parent Central no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 30, 2024.
Only ONE entry will be accepted per child, including twins/multiples.
Child(ren) must turn four on or before September 1, 2024, and must be a current resident of the state of Georgia.
The live drawing will take place May 6 at 10:00 a.m. at the School Age Center. Parents are encouraged to watch the drawing live on our MWR Facebook page or attend the drawing in person. Parent Central will notify those who received a slot by regular mail, email and phone.
