Army Outdoor Recreation is hosting a Cycling Challenge this year - and FORT MOORE is participating! Do you think you can ride 1000km (or 621 miles) in just 4 months or less?
Cost is only $50 to participate. If you reach your goal, you'll also receive an awesome cycling jersey as well as an ODR water bottle to commemorate your HUGE achievement! Here's how to join in on the challenge:
Challenge ends on August 31 (last day to cycle) -> Turn in your tracker anytime after completion of the distance goal; final report must be submitted latest by September 3! Our staff at ODR will order your commemorative cycling jersey on the spot and will contact you once you can pick it up!
For more information visit or call Outdoor Recreation at +1 (706) 545-7978 or visit moore.armymwr.com. All participants may ride either individually or in a group. Participants must complete their kilometers individually.
Although this challenge is targeted for adults, youth can also participate and should expect to receive an adult sized jersey if/when they finish 1000 kms. This challenge is open to authorized MWR Patrons.
Add some kilometers/miles to your tracker by participating in ‘Roll with ODR’! Meet us at 5 p.m. at Russ Pond on the following Wednesdays: May 8 & 22, June 12 and July 10 & 24 for our fun social bike! Make some new friends while completing the 2024 Cycling Challenge!
