Santa at Riverside & Tree Lighting Ceremony

Tis the Season!

The time has come for our Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, join us from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on December 8, 2022, at the Lawn of Riverside, home of Major General Curtis A. Buzzard Commander, U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence. In true Holiday spirit, Santa will make a jolly appearance and there will be family photo opportunities (bring your camera and smiling faces!) from 6:10 p.m. until 8:15 p.m. Following the Tree Lighting Ceremony and Santa’s grand arrival, attendees will also have a chance to win one of our awesome prizes! We hope to see you there for this fun-filled evening of Holiday cheer, singing, prizes, and more.

Sequence of Events

• 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. | Holiday music provided by Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE) Band
• 5:45 p.m. – 5:50 p.m. | Opening Remarks by Major General Curtis A. Buzzard Commander, U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence
• 5:50 p.m. – 5:55 p.m. | Invocation (Chaplain information TBD)
• 5:55 p.m. – 6 p.m. | Lighting of the Christmas Tree
• 6 p.m. – 6:05 p.m. | Everyone will sing “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”
• 6:05 p.m. – 6:07 p.m. | Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive on a fire truck
• 6:10 p.m. – 8:15 p.m. | Family Holiday Photos with Santa in front of a Holiday photo backdrop (Bring your camera!) *Santa photos line closes at 8:15 p.m.
• 6:10 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. | Attendees have the chance to win one of our awesome prizes/prize drawing raffle

• 6:10 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. | Movie Showing “Elf”, all activities open including Ice Skating, Train Rides, Inflatables, and more!
