Long Library Open House

We will host an open house to celebrate the grand opening of MWR’s Milton E. Long Library at 10am Aug 14. This free event includes refreshments and great activities for the kids, with puppet and magic shows, balloon and face paint artists, a juggler, drum circle and a movie at noon. The library, which opened in its new location in June, is located at 6529 Eckel Avenue, Building 2783, across the street from the Family Entertainment Center.
Schedule of events:
10:30am: Tommy John Presents puppets and magic
10:30am-1pm: Refreshments
10:30am-1pm/3-5:30pm: balloons/face painting in Children’s Room
12pm: Movie based on the book "We Were Soldiers Once...and Young"
3pm: Juggler Ron Anglin, refreshments
5:30pm: Beatin’ Path Drum program
