Note: This event has already passed.

Who is the best athlete on Fort Benning? MWR Sports hosts for the first time the “Last Person Standing Endurance Challenge” on March 25 on Stewart-Watson Field starting at 7 a.m. - What is this ‘Last Person Standing Endurance Challenge”?

The goal is to complete the 1-mile lap before time expires to be able to continue onto the next lap. You must be in the starting area when time expires to begin the next lap. If you are not in the starting area by the start of the next lap, you are eliminated. You must set off on the lap when the clock starts. The winner is determined when only one athlete is in the starting area to continue. If there is only one athlete in the starting area at the start of a lap, that athlete is determined the winner and the Last Man Standing!

We encourage participants to bring a support team to ensure you have everything on side, such as nutrition’s, supplies, or anything else needed. This isn’t a simple 5K run, this endurance race is a real challenge – sign up and find out if you are the best on Fort Benning! Pre-register at Smith Fitness Center or the day of the event. This event is free of charge and we recommend participants to be at least 13 years and older. Shirts and finisher medals guaranteed to the first 150 runners to register.
