Intimate Partner Violence and Suicide Presentation

Melissa Evans will provide a virtual training on "Intimate Partner Violence and Suicide."  This workshop will increase awareness on suicide and intimate partner violence as both major public health crises that are closely linked.  The presenter will provide statistics, trends, and the steps of SAVE, a prevention and intervention program that stands for Signs of suicidal thinking, Ask questions, Validate the person's experience, and Encourage treatment and expedite getting help. 

This event will raise awareness and provide information on the correlation between intimate partner violence and suicide.
