GA Pre-K 2022/23 Lottery

It's Georgia Pre-K Time!

The Georgia Pre-K Program is a lottery funded educational program for Georgia's four year olds to prepare children for Kindergarten.  For the 2022-2023 school year, Fort Benning is fortunate enough to have Georgia Pre-K classrooms located within the following CYS facilities: 1^st Division CDC, McGraw CDC, Santé Fe CDC.  Georgia Pre-K is a hugely popular program and space is limited so a lottery system was established, CYS received 88 slots for this school year.

Eligibility: MUST be a current resident of the State of Georgia and child must turn four on or before September 1, 2022.

Families interested in a slot at the Georgia Pre-K program participate in the GA Pre-K Lottery (drawing).

Complete an entry form at Parent Central Services, Building 104 Marchant Avenue between April 1 – 29 (Monday-Friday daily between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.)

Best part of all...it is free!  If selected, registration with CYS including all required documentation is required along with proof of residency, social security card, birth certificate, Georgia immunization record and a Pre-K entry physical. 

The drawing will take place May 12 at 5 p.m. at the School Age Center.  Parents are not required to attending the drawing, Parent Central will notify parents by mail, email and phone call.  If you require care outside of the normal school day (before and after school), care is available and fees are based on total family income.
