Fort Benning Basketball Shootout: Coaches Meeting

Calling all DoD ID card holders!  MWR Sports returns with the 2021 Fort Benning Basketball Shootout

Coaches Meeting will be held on April 13, 1 p.m. at Gowdy Stadium.

The Basketball Shootout starts April 19 and ends end of May - all active duty personnel (male and/or female), are eligible to enter teams into the Intramural Division and are eligible to participate in the Unit Level basketball shootout program. We are looking for Teams of 5 players, either by company/unit level or individual teams, coaches are needed for a team of 5.

Guidelines for shootout:

• Games are scheduled for Monday thru Thursday’s starting at 6 p.m.
• (Game times and locations will be based on the teams and brackets)
• Teams shall be comprised of 5 players
• 1 Coach per team of 5 players
• Players must have a valid government issued ID Card
• All active duty personnel (male and/or female, are eligible to enter teams into the Intramural Division and are eligible to participate in the Unit Level basketball shootout program.
• Each coach must attend the Coach’s meeting on April 13 at 1 p.m.
•  Description: Basketball Shootout, either open 3-pointer or round the clock shootout
• 1^st and 2^nd team to win a trophy as well as 1^st in individual shootout
• Face masks are mandatory, practice social distancing when possible
