Get ready for Family Sportsman’s Day! Gather the whole family and join Outdoor Recreation on March 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Recreational Shooting Complex (RSC) for an action-packed day of fun and adventure!
We kick off the excitement with a Shotgun Demonstration by the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU) at 10:15 a.m. – make sure you're on time to witness the best shooters in the U.S. Army in action! Explore the entire Recreational Shooting Complex, where you can try your hand at shooting a variety of guns on the pistol, rifle, and shotgun ranges – all for free! You'll be guided by USAMU Soldiers and range officers to ensure a safe and thrilling experience.
But that's not all! Dive into the excitement with paintball, axe throwing, and a visit to the RSC Pro Shop. Test your skills at the archery range! Plus, several vendors will be on-site offering fun activities and educational insights into hunting, fishing, trapping, and more.
This event is open to all ages! Kids aged 6 and up can shoot on the range but must be accompanied by an adult.
And there's even more to look forward to! Visit every station at the RSC and get your Family Sportsman’s Day Passport stamped for a chance to win fantastic door prizes!
Feeling hungry? Delicious food will be available for purchase to keep you fueled throughout the day. No registration is required, but a mandatory safety briefing and signing of the Hold Harmless Agreement are required before entering the range.
Safety gear, including vests, eye, and ear protection, will be provided and must be worn while shooting. Don't miss out on this incredible day of family fun and adventure!
