A Better Benning 2023 One Day AFAP Forum

You may have heard #BetteratBenning before, but there is always room to improve! The time has come for the Better Benning 2023, One-Day Army Family Action Plan (AFAP) Forum, an annual event designed to identify, prioritize and elevate issues affecting the quality of life at Fort Benning. Delegates will gather to discuss issues and come up with solutions from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on February 23 at the Benning Club.
Leading up to the event, Fort Benning community members representing various demographics have an opportunity to voice their concerns and ideas through the MWR form submission process (more information below). These concerns will be discussed by delegates at the forum who will identify, prioritize and brief Fort Benning members of key leadership to initiate action and resolution.
Topics for discussion include:
- Primary & Secondary Education
- Fitness / Recreation
- Crime / Safety
- Housing / Recycling
- Spouse Employment
- Healthcare
Help become part of the solution! To submit issues/concerns, please fill out the form linked in the following MWR Facebook event by February 15.
Those who submit concerns are also invited to sign up to be a delegate and help enact change! Even if you don’t submit any issues, we would still greatly appreciate your leadership as a delegate to help positively influence our community! There will be delegates of active-duty military including Jr. enlisted, NCOs and officers, as well as veterans, retirees, military spouses and DoD civilians.
