Be Strong Summer Festival Tour

Fort Benning is a Healthy Army Community and we're celebrating with August 9 & 10 with the Be Strong Summer Festival Tour! 

The tour kicks off Friday, August 9 with the Life is Better at Benning Expo at 9am-1pm at the Benning Club.  Do you know why #lifeisbetteratbenning?

Find out why and learn how to live a healthy at the Expo by visiting with over 50 post agencies, vendors, MWR programs, home-based businesses and community organizations.  The expo also features demonstrations, a Taste of Benning food sampling, door prizes and giveaways.  Meet Celebrity Chef Andrew Gruel and the Be Strong Stars of the Future Mackenzie Sol, Ray Goren, CC Miles and Tori Kay.  If you are a home based business and would like information on how to get a table to showcase your business, call (706) 545-4559.

Friday evening, enjoy a concert at 5pm by the Be Strong Stars of the Future, meet and greets with Alpha Warrior Athletes Barclay Stockett and Kevin Klein, and a 5k Glow Run. 

Food Vendors will be available and DJ Jena Red along with Comedian Ruperto Vanderpool will keep you entertained!

Registration is free for the first 250, afterwards its $10 per person.  Children under 17 years of age are free!

Saturday, August 10 Schedule of Events:

6:30 - 10pm: Food vendors (Bare Roots Farmacy and The Benning Club)

6:30 - 7:30pm:  BOSS Cooking Competition

7:30pm: Alpha Warrior Demonstrations by Barclay Stockett and Kevin Klein, followed by Alpha Warrior Competitions (show us what you got!)

7:30 - 10pm: Liquid Blue in concert (FREE)

8:15pm: BOSS Cooking Competition winner announced

All activities will take place in and around the Benning Club on Morrison Avenue.  Bring a camp chair!
