Back 2 School Bash sponsored by Kinetic Credit Union

Summer is almost over and children heading back to school. Get them ready by joining CYS for the annual ‘Back 2 School Bash sponsored by Kinetic Credit Union’ on July 29, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Blue Field. The event is open only to active duty soldiers and their families with students in Pre-K through 12th grade. Supplies will be distributed while they last on a first come, first served basis.

Students must be present and show their military dependent ID. Each eligible patron/student will receive a ticket for a free backpack filled with school supplies after providing a valid military dependent ID (a Parent/Guardian must accompany children). There will be a line! First come, first served!

Enjoy a fun morning with resources and activities for children and youth, such as inflatable attractions, games, after-school programs. Educational community resources and agencies will be present to provide any information you need to be ready for the upcoming school year.

This is an outdoor event with fun activities, so prepare for incredibly hot and humid weather and bring sun block, water and umbrellas for your safety and comfort. Drink plenty of water and dress for the weather as the temperature will rise throughout the day.

As families are coming and going, be careful and watch for cars.  Make sure you know where your children are at all times.
