Automotive Workshop – Ladies Edition

#
Note: This event has already passed.

Do you struggle with basic car maintenance? Have you been ripped off or made to feel silly by a mechanic or friends because you don’t know how to change a tire or check your oil? Or worst, do you feel uncomfortable asking about what you should be doing to maintain your car?

The MWR Auto Skills Center understands these kinds of issues and is here to help!

Join us for our first ‘Automotive Workshop – Ladies Edition’ on March 28, from 1 – 3 p.m. at the Auto Skills Center! This 2 hour course, taught by instructors Ms. Owens and Mr. Mitchell, is designed to empower women in car maintenance in a supportive, judgement free space.

What you will learn:

  • How to change a tire, check the oil, top up fluids and check tire pressure; basically how to maintain your car in between services.
  • How to save you money by ensuring your car is well-maintained.
  • Ensuring you have the knowledge, so you are never ripped off by a mechanic again.
  • You’ll learn what all that ‘mechanic speak’ actually means in everyday terms you can understand.

Registration required; register today until March 27 – call Auto Skills at +1 (706) 545-0309 to register and +1 (706) 545-2337 for more information in regards to what else Auto Skills Center can do for you.
