We host American Red Cross Lifeguard Training classes for MWR patrons 15 and older Oct 7, 14, 21 and 28. The cost is $175 for a four-day class. Participants must be able to meet a number of requirements, including swimming 300 yards, treading water for two minutes, retrieving a 10-pound object from the bottom of the pool and more. Successful completion includes a two-year ARC certification. To register, email lamin.o.norville.naf@mail.mil.
