5K Fun Run Series

MWR Sports will host a 5K Run Series including five races:

•Ugly Sweater Run, 9am Dec 8 at Doughboy Stadium

•4 Legged Love Run, 10am Feb 16 at Dog Park 2 on Zuckerman

•Bunny Run, 8am April 13 at Doughboy Stadium,

•Run to Remember, 8am May 18 at Doughboy Stadium,

•Back to School Run, 8am Aug 3 at Doughboy Stadium.

Each race earns participants one part of a five-medal set, pictured here. The cost is $15 per race for adults and $10 for kids 5 and younger. (Mom and Dad can run with kids for free, or kids can run with parents free, no medal will be issues for participants who do not register. Courses are stroller friendly.) Register for one race at a time at Smith Fitness Center or Active.com. For more information, call 706-527-2393.

If you miss a race, you can make it up and earn that medal by doing a virtual 5K.
