Paddle & Picnic

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure with Outdoor Recreation (ODR) on September 19 at Paddle & Picnic!  Embark on a seven-mile kayaking journey down the stunning Chattahoochee River, and cap it off with a delightful picnic! This exciting trip is for everyone ages 12 and up - no prior experience needed.

We'll gather at 7 a.m. at ODR, located at 7310 Gillespie Street, Building 1707, and head out together to the breathtaking Chattahoochee River. We'll start paddling as a group around 8 a.m. and wrap up at the Marina at Uchee Creek with a refreshing picnic to recharge and relax!

Participation fee is just $25 per person, which covers all the essentials - kayak, life jacket, paddles, food and transportation (both drop-off and pick-up). Kids under 14 must paddle in a double kayak with an adult, while those over 14 can enjoy the thrill of a single kayak!
