Kings Pond Campout

Calling all professional & first time Campers!  Join us for MWR Outdoor Recreation’s (ODR) ‘Military Family Appreciation Campout’ from November 8 until November 9 at Kings Pond!

November is Military Family Appreciation Month, and we celebrate our Military Families with a day of kayaking, games, bonfires, overnight camping and fun activities! ODR will grill hot dogs and hamburgers on Saturday, and you are invited!

Enjoy Kings Pond natural beauty, stay with us for just the afternoon/evening - or bring your own food and camping supplies to stay overnight; Sunday morning is filed with fun games and kayaking and games.

Kings Pond Campout is free for all participants, registration is highly encouraged to ensure we have enough food and supplies to feed all of our great Military Families!

Camping Rules:

1. NO Campers
2. Active Fire pits may not be left unattended and must be put out before retiring for the night.
3. No cutting of any trees for firewood permitted.
4. All trash must be removed after the event.
5. All dogs must be on a leash.

FOOD:

• Participants are responsible for their own meals.
• Outdoor Recreation will provide a light breakfast in the morning of November 8 for all overnight campers!
