With the release of General Order #6, Fort Benning's Health Protection Condition (HPCON) will change from Charlie to Bravo effective Friday, September 25th at midnight.
As a result, in-person learning for on post DODEA schools will begin Tuesday, October 13th, due to October 12th being a holiday. Families attending DODEA on post schools will be receiving detailed information regarding the return to in-class school.
In order to accommodate as many families as possible with our new School Age capacity levels, patrons must request care as soon as possible to ensure Before and After School Care with Child & Youth Services is confirmed and available.
For our current full day virtual learning children, care will continue until HPCON restrictions change directions. For patrons now requiring Before and After School Care and transportation, you will need to register at MilitaryCHildCare.com for these new services.
Full day patrons and those enrolled in both Before and After School programs will receive care on School Out and Early Release days at no additional costs. Those not enrolled in a wraparound program may attend full day care on these days but at an additional cost. For more information on our program benefits, contact Parent Central Services at 706-545-2079.
Our top priority is making a seamless and successful transition to this new era of learning choices for our military children. As a reminder, our current SAC and MST students enrolled in full day Virtual Learning are not impacted by this change.
Thank you for your continued support and choosing Fort Benning Child & Youth Services for your child care needs!
