Fort Benning will host the sixth annual Fort Benning Field Day for Tri-Community Exceptional children on April 23, 2020. The purpose of this event is to provide an opportunity for the community’s exceptional children to experience a day of fun, food and interactive sporting events and activities celebrating each child’s unique abilities while fostering the emotional and social growth of participants and supporting educators. The event is held at York Field, Stewart-Watson Field and Smith Fitness Center for Fort Benning Schools, Fort Benning Homeschoolers, and students from schools in the following locations: Chattahoochee County, Phenix City, Russell County, Lee County, Muscogee County and Harris County. Smith Fitness Center will be closed on April 23 until 3pm.
